Lady Gaga is donating Aid to Haiti

In recent tweets Lady Gaga has announced that she will be donating money to Haiti to aid in the global relief that is being perpetuated to save the desperate people of Haiti. Her exact tweet goes like this,

"Little monsters attending the Monsterball on the 24th: all ticket + and merch/cd profit will be donated. Save your money. Help save a life.Monies will be donated immediately, spread the word around the world so we can raise as much money as possible. Jan 24th is GAGA FOR HELPING HAITI day. Go to www.ladygaga.com on the 24th + 100% of all merchandise purchased goes to earthquake relief"

This is an admirable stand. Other celebrities doing similar things are Sandra Bullock who is donating 1 million dollars and Madonna who is donating $250,000. Hopefully lots of money will be raised on January 24th and some people will be helped who so dearly need to be.
